Role OverviewThe Nebraska Department of Labor is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their team as a UI Adjudicator. The successful candidate will analyze benefit claims, process appeals, and testify on behalf of the Commissioner of Labor. They will also investigate overpayments, answer inquiries, and interview claimants to determine continued eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits.

Requirements
- Post high-school coursework/training in math, composition, and/or use of computer equipment
- Experience in fact finding/interviewing, customer service, including answering inquiries, explaining procedures, or experience in customer service or call center
- Experience adjudicating unemployment insurance claims
- Experience using current benefit payment system in NEworks
- Proficient computer and typing skills
