Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer, PRN to perform ultrasound imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance, under minimal supervision with physicians. The position requires an Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program, and various licenses and certifications. The job includes patient interaction, exam performance, and job performance responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program
  • (ARDMS) AMER REGIS DIAG MED SONO American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • (RVT) REGISTERED VASCULAR TECH Registered Vascular Technologist
  • (RVS) REGISTERED VASCULAR SPECIALIST Registered Vascular Specialist
  • (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • 2 years Experience in ultrasound
