Job Description
Works under minimal supervision with the physicians to perform ultrasound imaging exams, exam protocols, accreditation, operations, and facilitation of equipment maintenance. Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition and ensures that it is properly supplied for procedures. Demonstrates conscious effort to be good stewards of hospital resources to ensure facility financial goals are met.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate's Degree Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Graduate of an Accredited Sonography Program
  • Licenses and Certifications: (ARDMS) AMER REGIS DIAG MED SONO American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography and (RVT) REGISTERED VASCULAR TECH Registered Vascular Technologist or (RVS) REGISTERED VASCULAR SPECIALIST Registered Vascular Specialist and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT Certification, course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • 2 years Experience in ultrasound
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
