Role OverviewDMC Harper University Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under general supervision. This role is part of a healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You Will Do
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams using appropriate imaging equipment, verify patient identity and review medical records, interview patients to obtain medical history, set up equipment and acquire images, review images and communicate data to radiologist, recognize and respond to medical emergencies, and provide imaging education to residents and new employees.

Requirements
- Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Sonography (S)
- Required to have or successfully complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training by end of orientation period
- Registered in specialty within 12 months of employment in area of discipline
