Job Description
Texas Children’s is seeking a Generalist Ultrasound Technician RVT to prepare, administer, and document mediations related to radiologic procedures. This role involves liaisoning between patients, radiologists, and support staff, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and providing patient care. The position requires attention to detail, understanding of anatomy and pathology, and proficiency in RVT certification and related skills.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • RVT certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB or RDMS-PS certification
  • Registered Vascular Specialist by Cardiovascular Credentialing International or RDMS-OB, RDMS-OB or RDMS-PS certification
  • RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB or RDMS-PS certification
