Job Description
We are searching for an Ultrasound Specialist RVT -- someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. The Specialist is a liaison between patients, radiologist, and other members of the support team. They are responsible for patient care, appropriate documentation, quality control, and quality improvement, and they provide training, education and mentoring to students, technologists, nursing, residents, fellows, staff, and others.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program required
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • RVT certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required within 18 months of entry into the role
  • RDMS-AB, RDMS-OB or RDMS-PS certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography required
  • RVS - Registered Vascular Specialist by Cardiovascular Credentialing International may substitute for the RVT requirement
  • 3 years Radiology experience required (any/all modalities)
