Role OverviewSecurity Officers provide routine patrol and access control functions, including property control, and report to the Lieutenant or Sergeant. Part-time schedules are available. The role involves frequent interruptions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods.
What You Will Do
Patrol Buyer's facilities, respond to crime and emergency scenes, enforce access and property control policies, and prepare detailed written reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6 months or more of aerospace-related security experience, a valid driver's license, and a current Secret Clearance or higher. They must also be able to pass a criminal, credit, and driving records check, and a physical examination.
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Current Secret Clearance or higher (preferable)
- Ability to pass a criminal, credit, and driving records check
- Ability to pass an employment physical
- Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
- Ability to write and speak clearly and effectively in English
- Ability to be fully computer literate with computer hardware
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to pass training and obtain required certifications and licenses
