Role Overview

The Undergraduate Communications Assistant (Storyteller) will help tell the story of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies and the Sustainability Studies Program's work in sustainability, resilience, and regeneration. The role involves building relationships with students, faculty, and community partners, and creating original content to communicate their work.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include developing original content, building relationships, drafting social media posts, photographing and recording video, designing materials, maintaining website content, interviewing and writing profiles, contributing to a broader communications strategy, and providing general administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have curiosity about sustainability and environmental work, a good eye, comfort writing for a general audience, and the excitement to strike up a conversation with someone they have not met.
