Job Description
The New York City Department of Housing Preservation Development is seeking an Undergraduate Summer Intern to support mortgage extension efforts for affordable housing developments. The intern will gain hands-on experience with real estate finance and public policy tools and contribute to the preservation of long-term affordability across New York City.

Requirements

  • Research and retrieve documents using the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
  • Verify property information for accuracy
  • Assist in conducting financial analyses of buildings
  • Contact building owners or their representatives
  • Compile and organize project documentation and digital records
  • Assist with preparing internal memos and summaries
  • Participate in team meetings and strategy sessions
