Role OverviewAs a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you'll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation. You'll work in a field environment, performing construction tasks, installing underground telecommunications cabling, and operating construction equipment.
What You Will Do
Perform construction tasks, install underground telecommunications cabling, operate construction equipment, maintain work areas, communicate with team members, complete daily production reports, and help with site restoration efforts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to work at heights, operate heavy machinery, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance. You'll also need to be able to work in all weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred
