Job Description
As the state’s chief regulator, the Department of Commerce impacts Ohioans every day. Conducts compliance inspections of underground storage tank (UST) systems, responds to UST compliance related questions, and conducts training/outreach to local Fire Departments & the regulated community.

Requirements

  • Conducts compliance inspections of UST systems
  • Responds to UST compliance related questions via email & phone
  • Investigation of suspected release events & compliance regarding UST systems
  • Conducts training/outreach to local Fire Departments & the regulated community
  • Conducts permitted inspections of UST systems
  • Reviews permit applications for issuance
