Role OverviewThe Underwriting Assistant supports the Excess & Surplus lines book of general/excess liability, garage and professional liability business. The role involves providing underwriters with technical and clerical support, identifying key issues in the decision-making process, and performing analysis to consider endorsement/account acceptability.
What You Will Do
The Underwriting Assistant will support the underwriting life cycle from pre-submission through policy issuance and renewal, identify and evaluate exposures for each risk, and issue premium and non-premium bearing endorsements.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College course work or degree preferred
- Experience with Professional Liability or Commercial Casualty coverages is a plus
