Job Description
The NYC Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) seeks to hire a Union Services Unit Supervisor. The Union Services Unit (USU) is responsible for ensuring accurate recording of union, insurance and political deductions for active city employees and providing customer service to inquiries.

Requirements

  • Supervising a team of six employees
  • Ensuring daily entry of union dues and insurance deductions into Pi, PMS and NYCAPS
  • Preparing and reviewing Union Services Unit payroll and statistical data reports
  • Generating deduction detail reports for insurance carriers
  • Updating organizational dues spreadsheet using Microsoft Excel
  • Preparing balance sheet account reconciliation, deposits and third-party payment transactions
