Role OverviewThe Unit Director will provide oversight to the 1 Hathorne Circle Unit located at the Hogan Regional Center in Danvers, MA, ensuring compliance with Title XIX regulations and promoting the rights and dignity of individuals within the unit.
What You Will Do
The selected candidate will develop methods for and supervise the collection of information, oversee facility compliance, direct the development and implementation of plans of correction, and perform personnel functions such as interviewing and hiring.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Unit Director will work with the facility maintenance department, maintain building status, and assure the completion of repairs and capital projects, as well as work with the clinical team and community programs in transition of individuals from the facility to the community.
Requirements
- Five years experience in Human Services providing support to people and in applying complex regulations to daily practices and operations
- A minimum of 2 years must have been in a supervisor or management capacity
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of management
- Ability to supervise, including planning and assigning work according to the nature of the job to be accomplished, the capabilities of subordinates, and available resources
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and determine the applicability of program data, to draw conclusions, and to make appropriate recommendations
