Role OverviewThe Unit Tech/Monitor Tech assumes responsibility for the organization and clerical activities for the nursing unit. Works under the direction of the Nurse Manager or the Charge Nurse. Communicates appropriately with patients, visitors, and staff, in a timely and efficient manner.
What You Will Do
Performs unit tasks in an effective and timely manner. Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in computer and clerical skills. Gathers and distributes clinical data as assigned. Orders supplies and maintains nurses' station in an orderly, neat manner.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Normal hearing or the use of adaptive hearing devices to enhance hearing required.
- Visual acuity required for a variety of activities.
- Must be able to sit and utilize PC for long periods of time.
- Good manual dexterity required for keyboard activities.
- Ability to do shift work as required.
