Role Overview

The Universal Banker will provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and thorough proper handling of all monies assigned. They will deliver superior quality service, identifying and understanding the client’s financial needs. The Universal Banker will be cross-trained to support sales and service activities, with a particular focus on assisting with outbound calling and supporting Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) activities.

What You Will Do

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Universal Banker include providing a distinctive client experience, educating clients on digital and self-service solutions, supporting team sales process, understanding the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM), participating in all components of the established Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines, and adhering to internal controls and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
  • Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation
  • Ability to multi-task under time constraints
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
