Role OverviewThe University Residences Night Access Task Force Student Office Staff - (NATF-SOS) - Student Clerical is a non-exempt position that requires approximately 12+ hours per week, with scheduled hours overnights on weekdays, weekends, holidays, and/or University breaks. The position involves providing coverage at resident hall main offices, handling emergency situations, and maintaining competency in the operation of the resident hall main offices.
What You Will Do
Provide coverage at resident hall main offices, handle emergency situations, prioritize responsibilities, and provide the highest level of customer service. Maintain competency in the operation, including proper check-in/check-out procedures for residents and checking out equipment as appropriate.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be actively enrolled at Purdue University, have previous work experience within University Residences, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and with a team, be timely and organized, and exercise accountability for the proper handling and security of all issued keys, safe access, and hall property.
