Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Energy Market Analyst to join our internal market monitoring (IMM) group. The role involves developing a detailed understanding of the workings of the wholesale electricity market, applying economic principles, and performing in-depth empirical analyses on market performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in economics, business, public policy, or another related field
  • Experience and/or demonstrated interest in wholesale electricity markets and the electric industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative skills with emphasis on analysis using SAS or similar programming language
  • Ability to conduct forensic-like investigations of market outcomes and participant behavior
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with others in a team environment
