Job Description
Little Lukes Preschool and Children Center seeks a Lead Teacher to join its team. The Lead Teacher will provide exceptional care and instruction to preschool children, ages 3 to 5 years, within an inclusive classroom. The role involves creating a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment, implementing effective classroom management, and communicating with team members, administrators, and parents regarding children’s development and behavior. The successful candidate will have a passion for Little Lukes’ mission, expertise in delivering care for the educational, developmental, and social emotional growth of children, and exceptional communication skills.

Requirements

  • A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • Active NYS Teacher certification
  • Passion for Little Lukes' mission
  • Expertise in delivering care for the educational, developmental, and social emotional growth of children
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work hard and adapt to constant change and evolution of care for children in their Early Childhood years
