Role OverviewThe Quad Preparatory School is looking for a floating associate teacher (STEM) for our Upper School (grades 6-12) campus. The floating associate will fill in for head teachers and psychosocial teachers when needed to provide instruction and social-emotional support to students. Our classrooms typically consist of ten or fewer students.
What You Will Do
Take on the responsibilities of a head teacher or psychosocial teacher, following lesson plans and the directions of other classroom teachers. Develop and be ready to implement 'emergency' lesson plans in the event a teacher's absence is unexpected and plans are not readily available.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education (any subject area), special education, a related field, or a STEM-related field.
- Experience teaching children in grades 6-12.
- Ability to connect with elementary school-aged children.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- A solid understanding of elementary-aged children's academic, social, and emotional development.
- Attention to detail.
