Role OverviewThis is a fulltime position working 40 hours a week. The Sr. Technician will work with the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) and Industrial Wastewater (IWT) team to provide continuous, safe and high quality utilities to the Fab. The team is responsible for the water and wastewater plants on the Samsung Austin Semiconductor campus.
What You Will Do
Assembles pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, or welding equipment. Diagnose piping issues and correct in the field.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and technical school certification preferred (State Plumbing License or equivalent)
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment
- Extensive knowledge of Poly Pro/PVDF piping and welding
- Ability to read and understand prints
- Diagnose piping issues and correct in the field
