Role OverviewAs a Prisma Health Urgent Care Remote Supervising Physician, you will provide clinical oversight, consultation, and support to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
What You Will Do
Provide timely clinical consultation and support to APPs, review cases requiring physician involvement, and review and cosign APP documentation.

Requirements
- Must physically reside in the state of South Carolina
- Board Certified or Board Eligible and licensed to practice medicine in South Carolina
- Current DEA registration
- Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses
- Experience reading diagnostic studies, including X-rays and EKGs
- BLS certification (we will provide this if needed)
- Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Prisma Health Urgent Care / WellStreet Urgent Care
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and other employees
