Role OverviewThe Utility Coordinator will review construction documents, evaluate proposed construction, and coordinate with internal departments to confirm the condition of the Company pipeline(s). They will perform required analysis, mark-up drawings, and write technical reports. The role requires effective communication with 3rd parties, including private and public entities, to evaluate the scope of the encroachment and potential impact to facilities.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include reviewing plan and profile drawings, working with 3rd parties, ensuring proposed development and construction meet Company specifications and regulatory agency requirements, performing pipeline stress analysis, and providing written recommendations and design modification guidance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, utility coordination experience, and the ability to read and interpret DOT construction plans. A licensed professional engineer and experience with Bluebeam Revu, API 1102, and Google Earth & GIS are nice to have skills.
