Role OverviewThe Utility Foreman is responsible for supervising and performing installations, maintenance, and testing of substation equipment. They will supervise emergency activities associated with the restoration of substation equipment and promote safe work behaviors and actions from all assigned crews.
What You Will Do
The Utility Foreman will supervise and perform all aspects of installation and maintenance of substation equipment, provide field training to maintenance crews, assist crews in performing equipment testing, and provide a professional point of contact for contractors and internal/external customers.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the electric utility industry, with a high level of organization and ability to work with little direction. They must be certified to perform substation switching and able to obtain and maintain a TWIC Card and a CDL driver's license.
