The Utility Pole Technician is responsible for conducting inspections, restoring, and enhancing utility infrastructure. The role involves frequent travel, daily physical activity, and adherence to safety standards. This position requires collaboration with team members and mentoring new employees.

Requirements

  • Conduct inspections of utility structures
  • Utilize handheld equipment
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to new employees
  • Excavate holes around utility poles
  • Backfilling holes
  • Assist in the installation of steel trusses
  • Perform manual labor
  • Maintain cleanliness and order at job sites
  • Professionally interact with landowners
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Conduct oneself professionally in public settings
  • React safely and appropriately in emergency situations
  • Report and respond timely and accurately to the supervisor
  • Participate in employee and professional training events
  • Will ingness and ability to travel extensively
