Role OverviewThis position is responsible for assisting the Senior Utilities Specialist with payment and maintenance of all utility accounts across the portfolio. The role involves tracking and monitoring utility usage, billing discrepancies, and payments for water, electric, and gas services. The successful candidate will be skilled in preparing detailed reports and computations, and will have strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
What You Will Do
The Utility Processing Administrator will be responsible for gathering and consolidating bills for processing and analysis, setting up or transferring utilities as needed for new properties or residents, and assisting with the transfer from paper billing to electronic billing. The role also involves overall customer service, fielding questions or issues from property teams and working with vendors to research.

Requirements
- Associate degree in accounting with a minimum of 3 years' accounting experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Skilled in preparing detailed reports and computations

- Good customer service skills
- Strong communication (oral and written), critical thinking and analytical ability required
