Job Description
We are seeking a Utility Program Outreach Specialist who will be responsible for engaging industrial customers on behalf of utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs. The Outreach Specialist acts as the key connector between program implementation teams and the market, utilizing a specific skill set including sales and networking, a communicative approach, a willingness to handle administrative details, and an innate desire to be helpful.

Requirements

  • Build and maintain relationships with industrial and commercial customers, trade allies, and industry partners to identify and advance energy efficiency opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach through calls, emails, events, and meetings to educate stakeholders on program offerings and benefits.
  • Qualify leads and support participants through program and incentive processes and manage enrollment from initial engagement through completion.
  • Track outreach activity, pipeline progress, and reporting data using CRM tools and other program systems.
  • Partner with internal teams to share market feedback, align messaging and technical support, and independently meet outreach and program goals.
