Role OverviewThe Utility Shipper / Receiver position is responsible for packaging and shipping outgoing material, receiving incoming material, and performing under minimum supervision. The role may act in a lead or training capacity and requires adherence to established safety procedures and 5"S" standards. The position involves coordinating with departments, distributing material, and communicating status to the Purchasing Department.
What You Will Do
Essential duties include verifying materials, coordinating shipping and receiving, distributing material, communicating status, monitoring inventory, and creating bills of lading. The role also involves working closely with Logistics and Quality Control to achieve timely coordination of paperwork and monitoring parts for re-routing.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in shipping/receiving in a production/manufacturing environment
- Completion of forklift certification
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques with emphasis on Standardized Work, Continuous Improvement, 5S, and JIT principles
