Job Description
Utilizes physical labor to assist in water and wastewater line repair, replacement and installation, excavation, traffic control, etc. Operates heavy equipment and specialty equipment associated with the maintenance, repair, and installation of water and sewer projects.

Requirements

  • Repairs water and wastewater lines
  • Installs water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Assists in excavation
  • Cleans wastewater lines
  • Performs line locates of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Cleans & maintains tools and equipment
  • Drives various trucks to haul material related to the repair and installation of water and wastewater infrastructure
  • Installs traffic control in strict accordance with state and federal manuals of traffic control devices
  • Follows City policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
