Role OverviewThe ideal candidate will perform hands-on user research and experience design for PeopleSoft HCM and related enterprise applications. This role will observe how users work, identify usability and process pain points, and design practical improvements to PeopleSoft Fluid pages, navigation, workflows, and interactions.
What You Will Do
Plan and conduct user research, translate research into actionable recommendations, design and improve PeopleSoft HCM experiences, create wireframes and design artifacts, work closely with technical teams, evaluate existing pages and workflows, and conduct usability testing.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Design, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3+ years of hands-on UX design, user research, interaction design, or human-centered design experience supporting enterprise applications or complex digital products.
- Plus is a Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM and PeopleSoft Fluid UI, including enterprise workflows, navigation, pages, transactions, and packaged-application constraints.
- Demonstrated experience conducting interviews, observation, usability testing, task analysis, research synthesis, and communicating actionable findings.
- Strong interaction design skills creating personas/user profiles, journey maps, task flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and design specifications.
- Experience with modern UX design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Axure, or comparable tools.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain design rationale and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits
- Salary: $90,000-130,000
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
- Work Environment: Onsite/Hybrid as required by the contract.
