Role OverviewAjaia is hiring a UX/UI Designer to run discovery and design on client engagements and on Ajaia's own product suite. The designer will talk to the people who actually do the work, watch what they do rather than only what they say, and turn that into journeys, wireframes, and prototypes an engineer can build from.
What You Will Do
The UX/UI Designer will run discovery on client engagements, talk to users of Ajaia's own products, synthesize findings into what people actually need, design the solution, test designs with real users, and own the design standard across Ajaia's product suite.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate is comfortable holding a room when the evidence points somewhere a stakeholder does not expect, AI fluent, and can tell good output from slop. They should be comfortable working directly alongside engineers through build and have experience designing AI-native workflows.
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Public portfolio or case studies
- Experience designing AI-native workflows
- Consulting, agency, or professional services experience
- Comfort with lightweight front-end implementation
