What You Will Do
Place PIVs, change peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) dressings, and assist the VAS RN with procedure as needed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate has experience with US-guided PIV placement or will be trained on the job. This role will provide difficult to access lab and PIV support as needed and occasionally obtain blood samples for processing by the Lab.
Requirements
- Two years of applicable health care experience OR completion of a related health care training program
- Basic critical thinking skills
- Ability to independently initiate appropriate tasks of the role
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
