Role OverviewThe Vault Assembly Operator produces quality cement burial vaults. The role involves operating equipment, assembling vault forms, and maintaining knowledge of all vault forms and duties.
What You Will Do
Operate forklift, cement mixer, and rebar cutter. Assemble special vault forms, nobles, and all stainless steel and copper vaults. Make cremation vaults. Break down and reassemble vault forms. Clean forms and remove concrete from floors.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of previous machine operation experience, basic proficiency in MS Office Suite, and strong analytical, prioritizing, and communication skills.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
- 6+ months of previous machine operation experience required
- Basic degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
- Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
- Basic verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
- Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch
