At HDR, our employee-owners are fully engaged in creating a welcoming environment where each of us is valued and respected. As a VCF Network Engineer 1, you will support design, implementation, and day-to-day administration of NSX overlay networking across VCF environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise networking, data center networking, or software-defined networking environments.
  • Working knowledge of VMware NSX / NSX-T concepts, including logical switching, routing, and security policy constructs.
  • Experience with core routing and switching fundamentals, including BGP and OSPF.
  • Familiarity with spine-leaf architecture and top-of-rack switching concepts.
  • Foundational knowledge of micro-segmentation, zero trust principles, and Layer 4–7 load balancing.
  • Experience supporting production incident, change, and problem management processes.
