Role OverviewAs a Vehicle Electronics Technician at DATTCO, Inc., you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing 12-volt and 24-volt electronics on company and customer vehicles. You will work in coordination with the Director of Fleet Maintenance, shop foreman, and terminal managers. This role requires flexible shifts, including weekends, overtime, and nights, and may involve travel.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include installing, troubleshooting, and repairing various electronics systems, such as cameras, GPS tracking, telematics, 2-way radios, people counters, and fareboxes. You will also be responsible for accurately recording and reporting information regarding installs and repairs, and maintaining the proper hand tools to perform job functions.

Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous 12v/24v installation and service experience
- Moderate to advanced knowledge of vehicle electronics concepts
- School bus or coach bus experience preferred
- Technician will be required to supply their own tools for this position
