Role OverviewAs a Vertical Sales Specialist, you will be assigned to a defined district(s) driving profitable revenue for a product, application or vertical customer segment. You will work with the field sales team to discover projects related to specific product or vertical, and utilize Salesforce to enter, track and close related project opportunities.
What You Will Do
Attend pre-bid meetings, represent United Rentals Matting Solutions, and design solutions with support from operations and field sales team. Close win opportunities in construction/infrastructure markets, and mentor OSRs on Matting Solutions product offerings in specific vertical.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum 7 years sales and/or operations management experience
- Temporary access roads and right of way experience is preferred
- Proficiency with SalesForce.com and MS Office (Word/Excel)
- Strong sales and customer focus/service skills
- Understanding of business accounting principles and P&L profitability; business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership skills with the ability to effectively train, motivate and influence all levels of the sales/management team
- Strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills
