Job Description
The Veteran Housing Coordinator program at the NYC Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) connects veterans with housing assistance and aims to facilitate their transition to stable, functional zero. This peer-to-peer program assists veterans experiencing homelessness, managing a caseload and coordinating with housing staff and partner organizations.

Requirements

  • Conduct intake on clients and update their information.
  • Assist clients through the housing process - housing plan development, application completion, and navigating rental processes.
  • Provide support to the Housing & Support Services (HSS) unit.
  • Logistical assistance for client move-ins.
