Role OverviewAn established veterinary practice is seeking an experienced veterinarian to serve as Medical Director and provide clinical leadership to a collaborative veterinary team.
What You Will Do
Serve as the clinical leader and primary medical resource for the practice, provide hands-on veterinary care, mentor and support associate veterinarians, and lead regular veterinary team meetings.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license in good standing in the applicable state
- Active DEA registration and any required state or local veterinary licenses or registrations
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience practicing veterinary medicine
- Previous veterinary leadership or team management experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop veterinary professionals
- Strong organizational, time-management, and delegation skills
- Collaborative and approachable leadership style
- Commitment to high-quality medicine, patient safety, and exceptional client care
- Ability to maintain a hands-on clinical caseload while fulfilling leadership responsibilities
