Role OverviewThe vibration test engineer is responsible for conducting propeller vibration test activities to determine compatible propeller and engine combinations to be installed on aircraft.
What You Will Do
Define test and instrumentation requirements, coordinate test activities, manage test asset logistics, analyze and interpret data, and communicate results.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This position requires up to 25% travel, and the ability to work in an office environment, test lab, or hangar, and fly in the test vehicle to gather test data.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering Tech with an A&P certificate
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- Knowledge of flight testing, vibration and fatigue, aircraft performance, and electronic equipment
- Proficient Computer Skills (MS-Office minimum)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
