Role OverviewLead accounting and financial reporting operations, overseeing accounting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, and internal controls. This senior leadership position serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Financial Officer and directly supervises the Senior Accountant and Accounts Payable Specialist.
What You Will Do
Direct accounting operations, manage month-end and year-end close processes, prepare accurate financial statements, and oversee regulatory reporting. Additionally, you will support annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and long-range financial planning.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPA designation or an advanced degree preferred
- At least seven years of progressive accounting and financial management experience
- At least three years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, audits, CECL, and investment accounting
- Credit union or financial institution experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial institution accounting practices
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial reporting system skills
