Role OverviewThe Vice President of DoD Growth will lead the company's growth in the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community markets. The role involves shaping the account plan, building customer and partner relationships, qualifying and prioritizing opportunities, leading capture, and driving pursuits through proposal submission and award. The ideal candidate will combine executive-level strategy with a strong personal execution ethic, disciplined capture management, deep DoD/IC market knowledge, structured communication, and the ability to drive alignment across executive leadership, solution architects, proposal teams, and teaming partners.
What You Will Do
The VP of DoD Growth will be responsible for growing SFI's DoD and IC business. Responsibilities include developing and executing SFI's DoD/IC growth strategy and multi-year account plans across priority defense and intelligence mission areas, building and managing a DoD opportunity pipeline, leading capture for priority pursuits, establishing and deepening relationships with DoD and IC customers, and identifying and managing teaming agreements with partners.

Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance required. TS/SCI strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- At least 10 years of business development, capture, or P&L leadership experience in the DoD/IC market, with at least 5 years leading capture or growth organizations.
- Demonstrated personal track record of winning DoD or IC prime contracts, including competitive single-award programs of $25M or more.
- Established, current relationships within DoD and/or IC customer communities (e.g., military services, defense agencies, or intelligence organizations).
- Deep understanding of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, FAR/DFARS, contract vehicles, and set-aside and full-and-open competition dynamics.
- Experience leading the full capture lifecycle: opportunity identification, qualification, customer shaping, teaming, solution development, and proposal leadership.
- Excellent executive communication skills, including briefing C-level leadership and representing the company with senior government officials.
