Role OverviewThe Bank of New York Mellon seeks a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer II to consult with internal business groups and provide application software development services or technical support. The role involves providing technical support in complex situations, conducting reviews of test plans and test data, and coordinating technical design, development, and documentation of cross-functional application systems.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, and logical processes and interfaces with other systems. They will ensure expected application performance levels are achieved, program well-designed code, and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to satisfy requirements and solutions.

Requirements

- Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation in the financial services industry
- Utilizing Java/J2EE technology to create software solutions
- Implementing REST APIs and scalable Micro services using open-source Java frameworks
- Creating real-time data streaming solutions and handling messaging services and event-driven communication
- Working Oracle database and multiple database tools
- Building an application that exposes components as Micro Frontends
- Utilizing Agile methodology including CI/CD, application resiliency and security
