Role Overview

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Wealth Management Technology organization. This is a senior individual contributor role for a highly experienced engineer who will spend the majority of their time designing, coding, testing, and supporting enterprise software.

What You Will Do

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-scale full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, object-oriented design, and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience developing production-grade solutions using Python, including services, automation, integrations, or data-processing capabilities.
  • Strong experience building modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, CSS, and contemporary frontend engineering practices.
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs in distributed environments, with an emphasis on reliability, security, maintainability, performance, and testability.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, including SQL, data modeling, transaction handling, and performance considerations.
  • Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, code quality tooling, and secure software development practices.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, the software development lifecycle, production support, and engineering controls in a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, deliver high-quality code, influence technical decisions, and coordinate dependencies across teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
