Vice President, Legal & Compliance

Join our internal Legal & Compliance team as a Vice President, working in a hybrid role with the flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week. This position will ideally be based in our NYC or LA offices. You will be part of a growing team, with a focus on driving future growth, passionate about delivering exceptional client service, and knowledgeable about the relationship between Private Equity sponsors and their portfolio companies.

What You Will Do

Perform initial reviews of non-disclosure agreements and client agreements, collect and organize information for client requests, support M&A transactions, draft employment-related agreements, and maintain awareness of laws and regulations in employment law.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with an in-house legal department
• Experience drafting and redlining legal documents, such as employment contracts, and non-disclosure agreements, services agreements, and other business-to-business agreements
• Ability to prioritize and focus on critical tasks across multiple competing projects and demands
• Ability to be an assertive and effective communicator capable of persuading and inspiring action
• Excellent analytical skills, independent reasoning, and a strong business acumen
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Excellent attention to detail and superior organizational skills
• Excellent proficiency in standard business technology and tools

Benefits

• Annual salary range: $120,000 to $135,000 USD
