Job Description
The Vice President of Land Acquisition oversees all land acquisition activities, from network management and due diligence to contract negotiations and entitlement coordination. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines, and working closely with various internal and external stakeholders. The VP will be responsible for new community planning and coordinating all departments to produce new projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Network and manage relationships with brokers, developers, engineers, and municipalities.
  • Perform preliminary due diligence and underwriting for proposed deals.
  • Manage the Land Acquisition Analyst(s) and Project Manager(s) for Land Acquisition Functions.
  • Negotiate purchase prices and terms of all land contracts.
  • Review and address issues arising during the contract process.
