Role Overview

The Vice President of Revenue Operations will lead the commercial operating foundation that enables growth across the organization. This executive will own the strategy, processes, systems, and analytics that drive revenue growth, forecasting, and commercial operations.

The main responsibilities include translating growth objectives into actionable operating plans, establishing commercial operating cadence, identifying opportunities to improve revenue growth, and building scalable forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Business Operations, Strategy, Finance, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years leading enterprise Revenue Operations teams
  • Extensive experience in utility consulting, energy services, energy efficiency, demand-side management, distributed energy resources, electrification, SaaS, engineering services, environmental consulting, or infrastructure-related industries
  • Experience supporting a revenue organization exceeding $250 million annually
  • Demonstrated success building or scaling a Revenue Operations function in a complex, multi-business-unit, professional services, technology, energy, utility, or project-based organization
  • Strong experience supporting complex, consultative, relationship-driven, proposal-intensive, and long-cycle sales organizations
  • Deep expertise in pipeline management, forecasting, performance analytics, annual planning, process design, and commercial technology governance
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including an understanding of bookings, backlog, revenue recognition, margin, capacity planning, pricing, and investment tradeoffs
  • Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms and business intelligence/reporting tools
