Job Description
BNY is seeking a Vice President, POM Product Management to join its Wealth Services Platform team in Jersey City, NJ. The role will involve owning and prioritizing the product backlog, translating business problems into clear user stories, and creating a product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, or related roles, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or related roles
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Experience supporting data products, data platforms, or data-driven capabilities
  • Background in financial services, wealth management, fintech, or a related domain
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data flows, and integration concepts
  • Exposure to cloud and data technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, SQL, or Python
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and controls in regulated environments
  • Relevant Agile or Product Owner certifications (e.g., CSPO)
