Role OverviewAECOM is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President, Business Development Lead to drive business growth for Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). This external facing leader will represent AECOM with TxDOT and be responsible for statewide business development, strategy, and relationship across TxDOT’s Central Office and districts and divisions.
What You Will Do
The Business Development lead will need to be a growth minded leader who can work collaboratively with other senior leaders in Transportation and other Business Lines to drive strategic planning, business development, sales & marketing, opportunity identification, capture management, and relationship building.

Requirements
- BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
- Experience with and knowledge of TxDOT standards, policies, regulations, and procedures within a government context
- Experience in business development and strong existing relationships with TxDOT
- Existing relationships within the transportation community in Texas, and active involvement in relevant professional organizations
- Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of best practices in capture process for professional services
