Role OverviewThe Vice President, Trust Officer is a key member of the Wealth Management Solutions team at Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB). They are responsible for the administration, management, and oversight of personal and fiduciary accounts in accordance with governing documents, applicable laws and regulations, bank policies, and the highest standards of fiduciary responsibility.
What You Will Do
The Trust Officer develops and maintains strong relationships with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other professional partners. They serve as a primary point of contact for assigned trust and estate clients and respond promptly and professionally to questions and requests.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, wealth management, banking, financial services
- CTFA, CFP®, CFA, JD, CPA, or other relevant professional designation preferred
- Experience with investment management and portfolio review
- Excellent interpersonal and client-service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field
