Job Description
The Office of Communications at the Ohio Department of Health is seeking a Videographer to plan, develop, and produce audio/visual content for ODH programs, senior leadership, or external marketing plans. The Videographer will work with supervisor, Public Information Officers, marketing manager, and program staff members to coordinate preproduction meetings, develop production plans, edit content, and operate drone equipment to produce aerial visual content.

Requirements

  • Work with supervisor, Public Information Officers, marketing manager, and program staff members to coordinate preproduction meetings
  • Develop plan for production (e.g., equipment, location, actors)
  • Edit content using editing software
  • Operate drone equipment to produce aerial visual content for promotional and documentary use
  • Collaborate with Communications team to scout locations, frame shots, and deliver raw or stabilized footage
  • Perform tests on equipment to ensure equipment meets standards
  • Maintain inventory of parts and equipment
  • Maintain log of video and electronic source materials (e.g., computer animation, unedited video footage, music electronic graphics) for use in future video programming
